Half fruity olive oil and with a good balance in the mouth between sweet, spicy and bitter, favoured by only a residual astringency. Rich in aromas with secondary nuances, both green (olive leaves, artichoke, new green and green almond, with hints of fennel, vegetables, apple) and ripe (bananas and berries). The final sensation is very nutty and in the whole it is round and harmonious.
This virgin olive oil from the Albera (Girona, Spain) is a monovarietal of the Argudell variety.
Its tasting notes are medium fruity, medium bitter and medium spicy.
It is a widely accepted profile and not at all tiring, being suitable for both cooking and for use in raw, where the aromatic aftertaste only appears in the end and does not interfere with the overall perception of the product.
